Persistent anaemia

My daughter has been diagnosed as anaemic for the third time in two years. Each time prescribed Sytron for 3 months and then bloods re-taken and always comes back normal. But the initial side effects of Sytron are horrible, however we've tried all the alternatives and this is the best of a bad bunch.

Does anyone have any ideas how to stop this happening again? Or why it is happening? Diet wise she isn't great. No red meat but does eat almost any vegetable put in front of her. Not a fan of beans but will eat them if I put them on her plate.

She will not entertain red meat at all, so that's a non-starter. She is 8.

Has she been tested for coeliac? A friend of mine was chronically anaemic for years and that, believe it or not, was the cause.

@Haworthia no I don't believe she has? She only has FBC taken every 6 months and I think this is a separate test? Our surgery is closed now until further notice, so I'm annoyed I didn't ask further questions when I had the chance.
