Possibly tonsillitis

I’ve had tonsillitis before but I’ve noticed something odd about my sons tonsils which I suspect is a bacterial infection but I’ve never seen this red line before going down tonsil has anyone had similar

It appears to be a blood vessel from what I can see (I'm a dental care professional).

Hope he recovers soon. Tonsillitis is really uncomfortable for most sufferers.

Our child has similar problem. Could you write more about that blood vessel. Did you been to doctor? It was disappeared?
