7 month with chickenpox refuse to take milk

I am not sure this is normal or not. My 7 month boy started chickenpox 2 days ago. Yesterday he was eating less milk but still willing to eat. We usually eat 4 times per day 25oz in total of milk. Plus 3 times of solid food. Today he refused all the bottles but he did eat three solid meals. As a result he has less wet nappies today too.

I am giving him water to drink but he does not drink a lot.

That is worrying me as he is already poorly with all the spots on him.

Looking for any advice. Thanks in advance.

I’d keep offering milk and water - if he’s eating then that’s a good sign but he probably feels rubbish.

Does he had bottles or sippy cups.

Is it definitely chicken pox? It’s very rare among under 1s.

He is still active and playful. Didn't show any discomfort yet...he drinks water from sippy cup. I tried to put milk in sippy cup to trick him but he refused straight away, also tried dream feed...he refused too...hopefully will get better tomorrow.

@nightmanagerfan, yes... unfortunately we went away with a family for holiday and the girl started it the last day of the holiday. One week after I had it as I never had, now it's another week after, my baby started. As I just had it so I recognized straight away...

Will he eat cereal porridge etc. It would be a way of hiding his milk
