Out of date calpol

I have just settled dd2 back to bed with some calpol. Now I'm back downstairs I have noticed the calpol is out of date, 2020 still but out of date. It will be okay won't it?

I would have used it and wouldn’t be concerned.

Totally fine. After the expiration date medicines may begin to (slowly) lose some of their efficiency. They do not become toxic or hyper-efficient
