Has anyone ever had a sleep deprivation EEG for their toddler?
I have a 2 year old that has suffered Febrile Convulsions and was sent for a Standard EEG & A Sleep-Deprived EEG.
The standard came back clear but the Sleep Deprivation one came back with:
“Abnormal sleep EEG in keeping with potential liability to seizures, probably generalised”
Has anyone here ever had this result returned or does anyone have any idea what it could mean as none of the paediatric team are returning my calls (have been trying for a few weeks now)
Child is generally quite healthy and happy 🤗
