My 2 month old had his first set of shots on Tuesday afternoon so almost 48 hours ago, he has been a bit warm since then so I've been giving him the recommended 2.5ml calpol every 6-8 hours or sometimes even longer. Otherwise he was feeding okay initially, just sleeping more.
Tonight though he has been taking less than half his normal feed and this morning I've noticed 2 red patches on his face, a small one close to his mouth and one quite large one on the side of his cheek. I've checked and it feels a bit bumpy and raised.
Is this a known side effect to any of the vaccines? Not sure if I should call the GP or not as he seems okay otherwise...
