My little one has been really poorly for over a week, seen many drs and been to a few different hospitals. All have agreed it is some sort of tonsillitis bacterial or viral. One said it looked like scarlet fever.
She has been on penicillin for 5 days and it hasnt really worked, still having high temps and headaches. A new symptom that has started as of yesterday is Itching her scalp. I watched her the majority of the night as she was asleep and had to stop her itching because she was really itching her scalp hard.
Upon checking her scalp i can see abit of redness in areas and a few cradle cap like scabs. Im worried sick as shes already so poorly and dont seem to be responding to the penicillin and now shes having this itchy scalp.

Be calling drs at 8 but in the mean time can anyone help? Has anyone experienced anything like this? Could it be the penicillin causing this?
