6 month old very grumpy and tired

Has anyone else experienced this? He's not sleeping more than usual but yawning a lot and rubbing his eyes, also more grumpy. I've been told it's a developmental leap a lot of babies have at 6 months but has anyone elses babies been like this at his age?

Hi, I know this thread is a few months old and your probably past the problem now. But mine has just started doing this, he's cranky all the time..wants to sleep more and is feeding constantly. He's also teething so I'm assuming that isn't helping. I got worried that he's got a ear infection as he's started rubbing his head and pulling his ear too but that can also be part of teething..I'm hoping he will either break a tooth through very soon or will have a growth spurt and I won't have to entertain a very cranky 6 month old anymore :( I hope your problem has stopped and you and baby are all good :D

Hey! Yes it did pass, thank god! Now he's 9 months crawling and pulling himself up and keeping me on my toes!

Thank god for that.. I'm half expecting to have a cranky 1 year old the way this is going hah.. did you end up finding out what the problem was or did your baby just 'grow out of it' so to speak? mines still cranky most days..we might get away with a day or two out of the week that he's ok and can be more independent playing with toys ect..but at the minute he does not like anything :(
