Help please ! Name changed for this one, to keep it away from my other threads. My lovely youngest DS has a non descended testicle that we only noticed last year, had surgery cancelled and been bounced around the NHS since then. Went back to GP as last resort to get re-referred. We were at the hospital today and saw a consultant - actually for something else and she asked about the missing testicle- I asked her to check the referral and she said she'd push it through but wanted to examine him, She's found both, but now wants to scan him- he wasn't scanned by previous surgeon and the GP we saw (a locum) was shaking his head a lot and saying it should have been done by now. SO, has anyone any positive experiences of this kind of op with older children. GP telling me he should have been seen as a toddler didn't help, as it wasn't a noticeable problem then, or of course we would have gone sooner! I'm awfully anxious too, so get stressed with anything medical.
