Molluscum Contagiosm

Can anyone help please? My daughter has had 1 spot on her arm for about 7 weeks now. Took her to the docs and she said it was molluscum. Everywhere i look though it seems to spread but hers has stayed at 1. She hasnt touched it though and when it formed a head i put a plaster on it. Has anyone known anyone just have the 1 spot?

I think you helped stop it spreading by putting a plaster on it. When my LO had just gotten chickenpox, it was mistaken for molloscum. When reading up on it, it seemed to say they spread when the first spot pops. By putting the plaster on it, you've stopped it spreading, so I think you unknowingly did the best thing!

My ds had one on his face for about 3 years. Then they spread. We use moludab from the doctors he had 38 at one point. Now we are just back to the one on his face.
