Two weeks ago we went on holiday with another family. Unfortunately the 6 year old girl started chickenpox on the last day of holiday. It was too late for us to do anything.

Few days ago I had cold like symptoms, yesterday I started to have red spots all over the face and body...(I never had it)...however my 7 month old boy is still fine who had the most contact with the girl.

Is there anyone actually experienced that the baby might be not infected?

Of course I will keep monitoring him as he might catch from me as well I guess. :(

Incubation period is up to 3 weeks so he could still be incubating it. He will likely catch it from you though if he doesnt get it from the original exposure

Yes... thanks! I think I need to monitor him until three weeks after I got fully recovered them...
