Cough remedies?

Hi all,
What have you found that works best for coughs with your babies?
My little girl is 8 months old and has had a persistent cough for weeks, I’ve taken her to the doctors 3 times who have checked her chest each time and said it is clear and that it’ll clear up, that it just takes a while.
I’m finding it so difficult to shift, we’ve tried;

  • humidifier in her room
  • cough medicine (these really don’t do much, just glycerol based)
  • snuffle babe on her chest
  • vapour bubble bath
  • calpol plug ins
  • Nurofen/calpol
Although some of this seems to help, it has been particularly bad the last few nights where she just wakes every time she coughs, I’m absolutely shattered 😢 Any help would be amazing, thank you!

Vicks on soles of her feet when going to bed?

I’ve been putting snuffle babe on her feet aswell as on her chest, sorry should’ve mentioned that! x

I've also read pineapple juice is good.

But maybe she's too young? Has she a pillow and is it anti dust mite and not just antibacterial.

Hmm I’m not sure if she’d be able to have pineapple juice yet?
No she doesn’t have a pillow, just in her cot in a sleepbag x

Piriton, lifesaver.

Hi @makingmiracles - there doesn’t seem to be a Piriton available for under 1 years old 🙁
