Fastbraces orthodontics

Hello, has anyone done fastbraces for their kid? The orthodontist said it will take 15 months to close gap between lower teeth and a 4 mm overjet. My dentist told me their system is called fastbraces and takes 3-5 months max. Same price. Only problem is I don't know anyone who has done this and how effective it is. Love the quick fix of course but will not want to do this twice. Any tips please.

Is your dentist a qualified orthodontist? A quick look on google shows the pros and cons - as your looking to correct an overjet is question the suitability to fix that.

If I was advised by an orthodontist I’d take their advice over a dentist.

Seriously? Your dentist should be struck off. The process of moving teeth is quite complex. It involves slow and gentle movement to allow the bone where the teeth fix in, to resorb and rebuild. It takes TIME. If you shove them too fast, they will go straight back to where they were. They will also hurt like crazy
