Cracked tooth

Hi, my son has cracked a a tooth in half, the front half seems loose but the back half isn’t. It’s one of his remaining baby teeth (he’s 10).

I’ve just called the dentist, they don’t have an appointment till next Wednesday, is it ok to leave until then? He’s not in any pain currently. Any idea what they’ll do?

My ds did exactly this op, tripped over and banged it in the olayground - thank his it’s a baby tooth, he had an X-ray to make sure the new tooth wasn’t damaged and then said they could remove it or leave it to come out in its own, it discoloured slightly but we left it alone. Good luck.
