Nine year old wetting the bed

9yo dd is sometimes wetting the bed. She took a long time to be dry at night - about aged 6, and is usually ok - she can go two or three weeks at a time without an accident and then we will have two or three in a week. She sometimes wakes up to tell us it has happened and sometimes has no recollection of it until morning. Given there are periods of several weeks without a problem I am assuming it is unlikely to be medical - any ideas or thoughts please?

I would have a read of the information on the EPIC website. I found it really useful.

Might be worth trying a bed wetting alarm it will activate when she states to wee and is designed to wake her up

ERIC website may be helpful to you. Please know that this is far more common than many think.
