Headaches

Is it normal for children to suffer with headaches? My 11 year old dd has been getting them for 6 months and they are getting worse. They are even waking her up during the night. Last week she had blood tests for ferritin, thyroid and full blood count. They’ve all come back as normal.

She’s not particularly stressed or worried about anything at school.

The doctor didn’t seem to suggest anything about from possibly low iron but the blood test was normal.

Dd also has issues with possible ibs, could this be linked?

I got the blood test results this morning, should I make another doctors appointment or wait to see how they continue?

We have a food diary due to the possible ibs and there doesn’t seem to be anything that triggers them.
