Looks like my DD has come down with a sickness bug. Was fine this morning but woke up from a nap, projectile vomited a few times. Have tried getting in water and also a lollypop since then but everything seems to be coming back up. She's got a temp of 38.7 - should I try and get Calpol into her or not?

She just vomited up a small sip of water. Not sure whether I should leave her stomach for a bit to settle or not?

When my son was ill like this I got paracetamol suppositories as he couldn't keep anything down but had a temperature. Hope she feels better soon.

Poor thing. I’d focus on making sure she keeps hydrated rather than bothering with paracetamol. The fever is just her normal immune response. Might be worth syringing small amounts of water every 5 minutes or so, and keep an eye on her wees

Thanks both. Her temp was 38.2 when I put her down which i didn't think was too high so didn't give her Calpol just incase her tummy went again. She seems better this morning and has had some water, milk and a tiny bit of toast so I'm sure she's heading in the right direction. Temp was around 38 again and she felt hot to touch so I've given her a dose of Calpol after making sure the drinks/food stayed down. Bug season is the worst Confused
