Uncomfy newborn- what could this be?

Hi, 12 day old baby, my second child so not a new mum but never experienced this before.

I am breastfeeding. He gets uncomfortable about 3 times a day, not after every feed. There isn’t a pattern. Just generally 3 times in a day where he gets upset, stomach goes really hard and swollen and he doesn’t settle. During these uncomfortable spells his poo his green not the usual mustard. And he has bad wind.

Is it colic or do you think he could be allergic to something I am consuming?

Of course I don’t want him diagnosed only via Mumsnet. I have mentioned it to the midwife but she wasn’t very concerned as he has gained 1lb in 10 days and feeds great.
Health visitor is coming on Monday so will be asking her advice and if it doesn’t improve I will be taking him to the doctors.

Just looking for experiences of what it could potentially be as if it’s something I am eating I will cut it out.

Tried infacol and Dentinox colic drops and it doesn’t seem to help.
Do bicycle legs and stomach massage and that sometimes helps him.

It's probably nothing, newborn's digestives systems are immature and they do feel uncomfortable sometimes.

Just carry on doing what you're doing at the moment with the massage.
