My 8.5 year old has suddenly developed a raised lump on her left breast. The right side is completely flat. It's not sore to touch and seems to have just appeared from no where! Could this be her breasts starting to develop? It sounds odd but I can't remember how old I was and how they formed and I don't want to make a big deal out of it if it's just normal. Any advice from parents of girls please!! Is this the start of it all?? I don't want her to be too early as she is already really tall for her age and her friends all seem so tiny. Is it just my baby growing up or should I be worried? Thanks!
