My son was born with moderate congenital pulmonary airway malformation (diagnosed at 20 week scan). His lower right lobe is being removed next month as each respiratory illness carries the risk of him getting pneumonia and there is a slight malignancy risk. Has anyone had any experience of their child having lung surgery and advise how it went? What things I should prepare/take etc x
