Hello! My 13 month old baby ate some cat nip my partner, not his dad, left out. He's sicked it up but it's the second time it's happened and I'm really worried Chewie is looking on purpose when he finds it :( is he addicted?! He's sleeping ok and eating well enough but I watched a doc on weed and they said cat nip is like weed

Well my dad thinks catnip is a weed. He pulls it up if it grows in his garden.

Here's a nice quote for you:
In the late 1960s, some researchers reported catnip gave people a marijuana-like high, but it turned out they had simply mixed up the two plants. As veterinarian Arnold Plotnick of Manhattan Cat Specialists in New York wrote to me in an email, "Think about it… catnip is cheap and legal. If it had a significant effect on people, everyone would be smoking it."

I suspect the researchers were enjoying their research a little too much. Grin
