First immunisations

Lo has had his first immunisations this afternoon, he cried initially, then seemed ok. He a nap and a bottle when we got home, we picked his brother up from school, then he had another nap when we got back. I had given him calpol before we went to the doctors and again 4 hour later. When he woke up from his late nap he was inconsolable, I fed him again and shushed and rocked him back to sleep (he was really upset while I did this) and he's been asleep since. Has anyone else's baby been so upset after their injections? Is this normal? My older ds never reacted like this!!

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

My son just wanted to sleep when he got his and was really upset for his first and 3rd ones. Hopefully he will feel better today after a full night's sleep.
