Could this be chickenpox? (Pics)

DD had had one dose of the vaccine, but isn't due the second yet (she had the first one at only 9mo so we have to wait three months between).

I noticed some spots on her face today but she does sometimes get a rash as she's blessed with my dry skin so I didn't think anything of it. But at bath time DH noticed she was covered in little spots. She's also had some horrible what I thought was nappy rash the last couple of days, which has now blistered over, and now I'm wondering if it's chickenpox as she's never really had nappy rash before.

Hoping she'll just get a mild version if it is as she's had a dose of the vaccine, but typical! It's her first birthday this weekend too!

FTM so apologies if it's a silly question Blush

Spots too small and dense ime. Cp tend to be larger and less regular.

Thanks! Perhaps it's just a viral rash or something. She's perfectly happy, no temp, etc. She's asleep now so will see how it looks in the morning!

Have you done the meningitis glass test just in case? Instructions here

Looks potentially like CP to me, altho there are an awful lot of spots so it’d be a bad case of it!

Yes, glass test was fine. I've just snuck in and peeked at her as best I can without waking her and they seem to have pretty much vanished so who knows! Just another random baby ailment perhaps Confused

Possible allergy/eczema would be my guess
Have you changed bath wash/soap/washing powder?

Doesn't look like chicken pox to me, spots tend to fill with fluid quite quickly after appearing. Does look more viral.
