DD (aged 4) slipped when climbing and landed with her legs either side of a plastic sheet. She’s had a little bit of bleeding, and from what I can see, she has a cut the length of the inside of her labia. It stings when she goes to the toilet and is upsetting her. Would I be over reacting if I kept her off school tomorrow and took her to the doctor?

Go to the doctor.

I did the same but on a tiled pooledge aged 8. Whole area was black within hours but otherwise fine. I’ve always had a very high threshold for pain mind.

Yes go to the doctor as you will have to have the damage checked out, also infections you will have to make sure it's clean and antiseptic cream is used.
