10 month old vomiting with a cold?

Anyone else experienced this? My DS is 10 months old (first baby, so this might be completely normal) and has been a fairly good eater but over the last 5 days he’s had a really bad cough and cold. His throat and nose are full of mucus which we manage to clear with nasal spray etc then it’s coming straight back after an hour. He’s trying to eat but all his mucus is making him gag that much on food that he ends up projectile vomiting everywhere. Sometimes this happens after his milk too if he lays down too soon afterwards. You can hear all the mucus in his nose and throat. Is this normal for a baby with a cold and what can I do? Or just wait for it to pass?

I thunk it's normal but if you are concerned visit our of hours just to be on ten safe side. FWIW mine threw up whenever they were the slightest big unwell (even if not a tummy upset) when babies
