Vomiting and mouth pain

I will take my DD to the GP on Monday if this continues but curious to hear if it's happened to anyone before.
DD is 2, refused all dinner foods yesterday and vomited just before bed. Slept fine and seemed herself in the morning. She had a temporary funny turn where she looked like she might start retching after eating toast but didn't. All day she has been very up and down, and slept a lot. The thing I can't figure out is that she keeps saying "mouth" and pointing to it and has had crying meltdowns where she was holding/pulling her tongue and just wanted to bite.
She hardly ate all day and just wanted cuddles. Any ideas?

Could be her throat that’s hurting her has she been coughing?

Tonsillitis??
Teeth emerging??
Does she have a fever?

That sounds like tonsillitis. Have a look at her throat, it makes mine (and me!) sick.

Thank you! That's a good call actually as last time I had tonsillitis I remember feeling really nauseous. She has had a cold for a few days and was coughing a couple of nights. Earlier in the week her throat did look red/white and inflamed. It doesn't anymore now but maybe it is further down and I can't see it.
What threw me is that she was eating anything and everything in sight at lunch but a few hours later seemed really sickly so I thought it had to be a sickness bug.
Hope she feels better today I was quite helpless yesterday!
