Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

Hi, my 13 year old niece has chronic fatigue syndrome and I’m looking for parents who have children who also have it, to find out what has worked to help their child. At present, she doesn’t go out at all, either to school, or socially. She rarely leaves her room and her parents struggle to get her to wash, or come downstairs. They are desperate to help her.

has she been to the gp?
blood tests for iron/vit d3/ thyroid?
does she have allergies? pets in the house?

No allergies and there were no pets when she first started with it. She had suffered a sudden trauma though (a close bereavement). She has been being monitored for over a year now and has just started seeing a psychiatrist.
