TMI Orange vomit, Bile?

DD14 was fine all day yesterday, very hungry at dinner time so ate a large dinner for her, we then went to a family party and again fine, said she was hungry when we got home so she had a few slices of toast and unbeknown to me downed a large glass of Ribena then proceeded to have a very hot shower and laid straight down in bed.

Couple of hours later she got up and said she felt like food was laying on her, not sure if she was confusing this with just feeling sick as she hasn't been sick since she was 6 and says she can't remember what it feels like, anyway she missed the toilet hit the landing and threw up what looked like just Ribena, she then was sick twice more tiny amounts of the Ribena and then a fairly small amount of orange liquid? Is this bile? Google gives me varied answers. Is it a worry, she's is fine this morning, not hungry but says she hasn't felt unwell at all??

Bile is usually yellow or green and when your stomach is completely empty. Doubt it’s bile. If she feels fine, then it was probably just a one off. You will never know exactly what it was but unlikely food poisoning if no diarrhoea.
Maybe encourage her to eat plain is food today but other than that let her be.
I would talk to her about getting to the loo in time to be sick though.

True "bile" is green colour, but it sounds like your DD vomited up all the food contents of her stomach and then probably just some stomach acid at the end when there was nothing left. Hope she feels better soon! X

Thanks all, she does know to go to the toilet, however, like I said she's so rarely sick I think she just missed the signs, she did leg it but didn't quite get there Confused
