Flaky scalp

Hi. Just dropped my daughter of at school and noticed that her scalp was so flaky, i think it was the sun light that I could see better than indoors. Eye sight not the best. I was ready to bring her home. She’s 7. What can I get for it. Quick action treatment. Head and shoulders or some sort of medicated treatment? I feel bad for taking her to school as it was so bad.

My lb is almost 4 and he still gets cradle cap. I soak his scalp in olive oil for an hour before bath and then use a bit comb and it just flakes off because it's soft. Try that and then some sensitive h&s

Neutrogena T Gel? Not sure if suitable for young children but worth a look.

Leave coconut oil on overnight then wash off in the morning

Ginger shampoo from TBS or Vosene original.

Just a thought, she doesn't have nits does she and she's scratching her head making it flake?

Capasal worked for DS but really I'd take her to the dr or at least pharmacist first for advice. Usually it's fungal which is why capasal etc works but sometimes you need something stronger and in any case any skin condition should be checked out.

Can't believe a pp has been messing around with olive oil rather than getting medical advice for four years.

Head lice going round her school, doesn’t look like head lice but will do a double check. Thanks

No not lice. She says it’s sore to touch her scalp. Will pop her down to the chemist. Thanks

Her scalp always smells too even after Iv washed it. She really hates going to the doctors. Will speak to chemist anyway. If all fails I’ll try and get a nice lady doctor app 😁
