Hayfever and Grazax - anyone had experience?

So, my daughter who is now 10 and a half, has terrible hay fever - really debilitating for 3 or 4 months of the year. We've tried the strongest antihistamines, eyedrops, nasal spray, local honey, homeopathy, reflexology, 2 showers a day, not letting her outside, you name it - we've done it! She's now got asthma because of it and I'm at my wits end... :-(

She has now been offered Grazax as a long term immunotherapy treatment. After two days, she's had the same reaction to it - feeling of swelling in the throat. Both times she was at the doctors so I was reassured, but she panicked about the tightness and had a hard time swallowing. The doctor said she couldn't see swelling, and couldn't hear any asthma reaction so she said she might be just anxious... I'm desperate for her to get treatment but a bit scared.

Has anyone else's child had this treatment and if so, have they had side effects that have gone away? Thanks for any advice!
