DD Throat infection

I'm just needing to ask a little bit of advice if it's ok. Im a bit of a worrier and I'm a bit concerned about DD.

Weve been to the Dr and she has a viral infection.
No fever, no white spots on her throat, but shes in a lot of pain.

Were currently using paracetamol suspension at the max dose for her age, difflam throat numbing spray at the max dosage, ibuprofen and throat lozenges.

I've barely slept in a week because she says she cant sleep because shes not feeling well. I just cant bring myself to go to sleep when shes up and saying shes not well, and it feels like weve ended up in the same situation as when she was a newborn. I'm trying to sleep when shes finally dozing off but I dont know what to do at this point because nothings helping and I dont want to bother the Drs if it is just a viral infection but I feel like the painkillers should be working, and so should the numbing spray.

Shes currently awake, being convinced to try a warm drink because the above and
cold drinks haven't helped.

Please If anyone has any magic throat cures, please tell me what they are.

Thank you to anyone who has any ideas at all. Usually I'm good at this stuff having had repeated throat infections myself, and DD has had so many throat infections in the past she had to have her tonsils out, but right now I'm not sure how to help her.

Thanks again.

If it's viral (sounds viral tonsillitis) then sadly it will just take time and you'll need to ride it out.
Keep using the spray, and alternating ibuprofen and paracetamol. I used to find ice lollies help!
