1 year old with sticky eye

My almost 13 month old has a sticky eye that keeps leaking yellow in the corner. It's slightly pink, a bit watery and has the yellow stickiness. It's been happening a couple of days, any ideas of a way to treat it? It's not itchy, I think it started after I accidentally poked him in the eye Sad (while washing his face with a flannel and he wasn't keeping still)
He didn't cry or seem bothered at the time , but I'm pretty sure it's been leaky since then :( maybe pharmacist tomorrow? Or think it's worth GP?

Sounds like conjunctivitis. The pharmacy can’t give drops to under 2 year olds without a prescription. So it’s a trip to the GP.
I would ask for the ointment instead of the drops actually. They can ‘blink away’ the drops quite easily, but the ointment soaks in.

Definitely see a doctor, especially of you think its because you poked him in it

Are you still bf? Breast milk is a great cure apparently!
