Bad breath

My 6 year old daughter has really bad breath most days, even after brushing and gargling with mouthwash. We use Aquafresh toothpaste/mouthwash but 10 minutes after brushing the smell is back. I don’t want her to be embarrassed at school, does anyone know of any products that can help with this? Thanks. The dentist said it’s coming from her tonsils but she’s got no infection

She's not shoved something up her nose, has she? That can lead to the most amazingly foul breath...

Does she drink a lot of milk? My 6 year old had the same problem and he he would have a huge cup of warm milk every night. We stopped the milk and the bad breath disappeared instantly! It was amazing.

Also you could try a tongue scraper.

I read an article years ago about a child who had terrible breath. Turned out to be a dairy allergy and as soon as he stoppe dhaving cow's milk products it vanished. Worth experimenting.

She only has one cup of milk a day with breakfast but will try cutting this out and see if it helps. Thanks everyone

Tonsil stones? They can make breath very smelly.

Dental decay. My DD has similar and it turned out to be a rotting molar.

It’s definitely tonsil related as her teeth are healthy. Can anyone recommend any products that help? Thanks
