What is this on 2 year olds leg?

Does anyone know what this could be on my daughters leg? It’s at the top of her leg. It’s round and red and now looks dry. It’s been there for a few months now

Yep, mine took weeks but it did just disappear eventually - there is not even the slightest mark where the big herald patch was. Hope it goes soon...
