9 weeks, nasty cough

9 week old has nasty cough, sounds loose but gets coughing fits and not sleeping well in moses basket. 8 week imunistations delayed by docs due to bank holidays until next week. Anything we can do to help him, all calpol type products say 3 months or only after immunizations. New parents seeking reassurance and not sure it's a 111 call thing?

Calpol is 2 months. My baby had similar at the same age and I also found saline solution helped unblock his nose which really made a big difference.
