White sores on lips?

My 12 week old DD had a temperature of 37.9 that has been brought down a bit by calpol, doesn't want to settle and she has white sores on the inside of her mouth and cheeks, not on her tongue. Any ideas what this could be? She's really unhappy

I will obviously be ringing the drs first thing or 111 if her temp doesn't calm down, I'm mostly stumped by the sores in her mouth. Doesn't look like oral thrush and she doesn't have a rash or marks anywhere else.

Thanks in advance.

Could it be Hand, foot and mouth? DD started like this, refused to eat (she was about 2). I took her to the Doctor in the afternoon and suddenly spots appeared on her hands and then feet. If you’re worried call 111 though, better to get her checked out.

Whoops! DD obviously didn't want me to reply.

She is still drinking her bottles, and there's no blisters or rashes on her hands/feet yet but I guess it still could be!

My DD had this before Christmas (she's just turned 1) she only had blisters on her lips but the doctor said she thought it was hand foot and mouth. She developed a rash on her legs which went down to her feet so it could be that. Keep an eye on her and give the doctors a call xx
