Hi everybody, my son first had a fever on Sunday night. By Monday afternoon his fever was nearly 41° so I called 111 to get some advice. The symptoms that he was showing the lady was quite worried and called an ambulance. When we got to hospital the doctor said he had an ear infection. He has been on antibiotics since Monday night. He is not getting any better in himself and if anything he is getting worse he has a terrible terrible cough and a really really runny nose. He's not talking yet but I can tell that he has a headache because he keeps holding his head in his hands. He is taking ibuprofens and Calpol and we are now on day four of antibiotics. Has anybody else's little one had an ear ache? When will he start getting better? I also have a 10 week old son and so really worried that he will catch something. This is probably his sixth cold since starting nursery in September. Don't know what I'm doing wrong.
