Will get an emergency appointment tomorrow but has anyone seen this on a milk tooth?

Did it get bashed or other trauma to it? Are they in pain?

No she says hasn’t hit it etc. She has lost her first 8. She was on long term antibiotics as a toddler due to kidney probs and was told her teeth could appear discoloured because of the sugar but this is the first I’ve noticed. My own thought is it’s just a milk tooth ready to come out? She said it hurts when she chews on it but not when she touches it. She said it’s been like it a week but I’m sure I would have noticed it before then....

Hmm. Teeth can get bruised. It happened to a friend's DS. Not that bad but it went a bit grey. It recovered though..

You know when you think please just not now just not this week... it’s her birthday Xmas eve too so double whammy for us. I think if she had pain or fever I’d be more worried but agree prob a bruise I’ll ring the dentist in the morning

How old is she OP?

It's a bit hard to tell from the picture but to me it looks like a tooth about to fall out, is it wobbly at all? It looks like just the outer enamel of the tooth is left and you can see the gum through it. Lots of baby teeth look like this.

It's not decayed, and there's no abscess or anything I can see. It wouldn't be caused by antibiotics. I think it's just a tooth ready to come out.

@Inapickle80 Did you see a dentist? Hope everything is ok.

Hi yep all ok. She had it removed she was SO brave the dentist was absolutely brilliant. They said it had just died and wasn’t wobbling so just took it out. Literally made her scrub her teeth this evening though! They said her teeth were otherwise really healthy :)
