Hello

Pls looking to see if anyone else has had this

I saw a red spot under the skin of my 2 yr old's palm.its red.looks exactly like a blood spot/blister but its not raised at all.. i initially thought it was ink as theres no form of injury around there or bruise but its perfectly round.

First time posting here not sure how to post a pic of his palm

Kind of worried it looks like purpura but its just one spot on his body perfectly eound and red and under the skin. No idea at all what this can be

Thank u

Are you sure it isn't a mole? You can get moles on the palm of your hand. And they do vary in colour.

Thanks i doubt its a mole as its under the skin.the surface of the skin is smooth. Can a 2 yr old get a mole..?

A 2 year old can get a mole. Anyone can get a more at any age. But in this case it's probably just a type of blood blister.

I've had things like this appear on my hand after minor trauma. Always assumed it's just trapped blood. Normally turns dark after a few days and then after a few weeks fades away.

Thanks a lot. This makes me feel a bit relieved.i would say it lookd exactly like trapped blood. I just got a bit worried because the top skin is very smooth with no injury and wondered if it was from within.

Noticed it on Saturday will keep an eye on it for some time.

Once again thanks
