Swimming, hand foot and mouth?

DS (11 months) was diagnosed with HFMD on Tuesday, symptoms started on Monday. He would usually have a swimming lesson tomorrow. He never got blisters, but most of his rashes have calmed down and dried out. Would he be okay to go?

The dr on Tuesday pretty much said don’t exclude him from other children because they’ll probably catch HFMD anyway Hmm he hasn’t been to childcare this week.

You'd be a pretty shitty person to pass it in just in time for Christmas.

Our nursery doesn’t exclude children with HF&M so I guess you could take him

A swimming lesson is not essential and you could potentially ruin someone’s Christmas if he passes it on so near to Wednesday. I’m sure your ds can miss one swimming lesson!

I wouldn't as it would make the spots all soggy
