My ds 15 can’t swallow tablets so I have given him 10ml of 40mg/ml liquid ibuprofen is that right? - so 400mg?
It was from Tenerife and on the side on the box it said 7.5ml for 40kg and he’s taller than me.
I think here it’s half strength so they’d have 20ml according to nhs but I could do with reassurance!

Yes, the advice on tablets is that adults and children over 12 can take two x 200mg tablets = 400mg

Hope your dc feels better soon.

Calpol do meltlets which my eldest takes, they can't swallow tablets either so the meltlets are brilliant!

Thanks I’ll remember that for next time I go shopping. I’ve bought normal Paracetamol capsules before which I’ve emptied into a glass of water but all we had was this medicine from on holiday.
I think he’s got flu he’s not eating or on a screen and has a terrible headache as well as cough etc.
Also have just realised he’s had it on an empty stomach apart from orange juice. Hopefully will turn a corner tomorrow.
