DD has worms woo hoo. Will be heading to the chemist after drop off today but need some wisdom:

  • do I have to tell school as you should with eg nits?
  • swimming lessons tonight, should she still go?
  • she regularly sleeps in 3 different beds, do they all need hot washing?!???
  • I will try to stop the bed hopping for the next few days and wash sheets every day
  • nails, shower morning and night
  • hotwash all towels

Anything else??

Because obviously it's a pretty quiet time of year so I don't have anything else to do GrinGrin

Uugh my daughter had worms a few years ago.
Yes definitely tell the school so other kids can be treated if needed and yours won’t get them again.
All bedding needs to be washed.
Finger nails short and really good hand washing .
I feel for you, we’ve had a bout of nits that took three weeks to completely get rid of Angry

yes to hot washing towels, bedding, underwear.
short fingernails
regular baths
go to pharmacy for worming tablets for the whole family.

tbh I find worms easier to deal with than nits...
been got the tshirt

Dose everyone in the household, tight pants or on bottoms to sleep in, wash each day. Repeat medication after 2 weeks. When washing bedding and towels, extra rinse.

Can she go swimming tonight??? She was really looking forward to it as it's the Christmas mess about session!
