Just wanted to post in case this helps anyone else. My DD has got threadworms for the second time. The first time was a year ago. Both times there was a build up where she was complaining of tummy aches and constipation. I ignored these complaints and both times after a couple of weeks she has woken up on the night screaming about a pain in her bum. You’ll have other ppl tell you that they don’t hurt but my DD is normally a stoic old thing so I think they must be pretty uncomfortable, at least for some kids. She took the medicine this afternoon and again woke up really upset and agitated in the night but fingers crossed she’ll be better tmw.
