This morning my son woke up with a dry nappy while having breakfast he started to scream and moan then stopped after urinating the front of his nappy has these dark yellow marks. An hour later he was lying on the floor kicking screaming and crying but nappy is dry. I noticed yesterday while he was in the bath he was bending and holding his groin alot. Could he have a urine infection?

It’s possible, but I’d be concerned as to why he has one in the first place (it’s more difficult for bugs to get into the urinary tract of males compared with females).

Either way, you should get him seen by an out of hours doctor today.

Looks and sounds like a UTI. As PP says, boys having UTIs are less common. Get seen ASAP.

It could just be balanitis. Is the end of his willy red or sore looking?

Aren't those dark marks a sign of dehydration? I'd get him seen ASAP.
