ENT referral for mouth breathing

Hi all, I have just taken my 5 year old son to the GP for mouth breathing, particularly at night. He is referring us to ENT and I just wondered if anyone had any experience of this? He had his tonsils and adenoids removed before he was 3 so it isn't that. I just really want to prepared and make sure I am not fobbed off at all. I would like to request a sleep study so see how much decent sleep he is getting/ his oxygen levels but dont know about anything else. Some internet stuff say it is an ENT issue, some say dental. Just looking for a bit of experience or advice if anyone has any x

hi @Aries456 ! I know it’s been a while and I wonder if you are still here. I’m in exact same position with my son! He’s 5 and had his tonsils and adenoids removed. Please can you let me know what was the outcome for your son after ENT referral? Xx
