When to worry about speech development?

My son is 7 months old and really didn't babble too much. He makes sounds, but very much one syllable and only vowels. When he was younger he did used to say things like "agooo" but that has seemingly stopped.

He's otherwise very engaged. Looks at us when we talk to him, very aware of surroundings, loves to play with things and is very smilely and sociable. Positive he has no hearing issues at this was thoroughly tested when he was younger after he failed newborn test.

It doesn't help that my daughter was a rediculously early speaker and babbler, so I don't really have a good point of reference.
