Recommendations - Craniosacral therapist

Hi all,

We have been suggested to see a craniosacral therapist for my daughter (11 months) to see if it will help with her sleep, which has got progressive worse in the last few months.

Can anyone recommend a good CST in the north west? Preferably liverpool/Manchester/Chester?

Many thanks x

sorry your dd is having trouble with sleep, I can empathise, but I don't think craniosacral therapy is your answer - it's been roundly debunked as a pseudoscience with absolutely no evidence suggesting it helps. Sorry I can't be more help.

I know some people who have sworn by getting a sleep consultant on the case, though I never tried this myself.

good luck.

@Herbivore234 I know this is an old thread but can I ask if you did see a CT for your LG and how you found it? I'm in a similar situation.

Thanks

Hi @teaplease29,

We did find a really lovely guy called Bruno who works at Jennifer Green therapies in allerton, liverpool. He was great and did an initial consultation with my daughter, but he actually said that he couldn’t find any physical issues that he thought needed resolving. He said the best time to go to a craniosacral therapist is really in the first 6 months, so I guess we missed out on that. However now with a bit more hindsight and general reading and parental knowledge behind me I think my LGs sleep probably wasn’t as abnormal as we thought it was at the time. She still isn’t a great sleeper now at 2 but has improved, I think just with time. I think it is worth going once though - you’ve got nothing to lose. He was very gentle and respectful and tbh I don’t think it’s much money to lose even if you go and rule it out. Good luck xxx
