Bloody headlice!

My two year old has caught head lice. Not surprised really as my step kids seem to constantly pick them up from school. He literally will not sit still, I can’t get the nitty gritty through his hair properly.

I’m going to have to shave his head aren’t I? I’d rather do that if it will get rid of them properly rather than having to torture him. Does anyone know what grade will be okay that the eggs will all be gone but perhaps he wouldn’t have to be completely bald? He’s got such beautiful curly hair! Sad

Have you tried covering his hair in conditioner and then trying to comb through? Chemist told me to do that

Can you not just stick some hedrin on

facedowninthedirt · 13/11/2019 20:09

He won’t sit still for me to comb it. I’ve got a nitty gritty comb as it gets eggs as well but it’s a fruitless task as he’s constantly yanking his head away.

Hedrin doesn’t kill the eggs.

It will kill hatchlings that come out the eggs. I didnt like the nitty gritty, felt like it ripped hair out.
