Daughter banged her toe

Hi there,

Photo alert warning if you don't like feet!

My 7 year old stubbed her big toe in the swimming pool on Friday. She didn't complain of pain but at the time noticed the end of her toe was very red. She still hasn't complained of pain (she has a high pain threshold), says it hurts to touch but last night noticed it looked like this and then I took another photo this morning. The usual, I feel I should get her checked out incase of infection but my husband isn't worried and think's I am overreacting!

Wondered what any other mum or dad thought and interested to know what you would do?

I would take her to a walk in centre. They may need to release the fluid building up.

I would pop in to see my nurse just in case it needed draining or antibiotics. It looks painful bless her
