Does my baby have Diarrhoea

Hi guys this is my first time on mumsnet just looking for a bit of advice. My baby is 9 weeks old and I’m worried about her bowel movements. She constantly strains to have a poo and is constantly pushing, sometimes waking her up at night. But it takes her about 3-4 days to poo and when she does finally poo after 3 days of pushing it’s an explosive poo every single time all up her front and back. Is that normal? I’ve taken her the Docters before over this and they said she had colic and constipation. I’ve given her colief drops for the colic and I cycle her legs give her tummy rubs rub a cotton bud around her bum and have given her boiled water between feeds but nothing seems to help. Could this be an intolerance to her milk?

What milk is it? If its soft when it arrives then it's not really constipation. Colief only helps if your baby has issues digesting lactose as it breaks lactose down.

She’s on aptamil formula she has 5 ounces every 3 hours she always seems to be hungry but she is putting on weight so the docter didn’t seem concerned and told me if it was an intolerance that she would reject drinking her milk. When she poops it’s quite runny but I wouldn’t say watery it does have like a paste consistency but there’s so much of it it’s always an explosive poo always. She’s been like this for about 6-7 weeks.
